Walk4Humanity: A Call to March for Justice, Equity, and Liberation
“Strut Into Action!” That’s not just a slogan — it’s a commitment. And on Sunday, August 24, 2025, we invite you to be part of something historic. Join us for Walk4Humanity — a 2-mile community-powered demonstration of love, resistance, and joy, led by The TransLatin@ Coalition.
What Is Walk4Humanity?
Walk4Humanity (W4H) is more than a march — it's a movement.
This 2-mile walk from Sunset Junction in Silver Lake to Western Avenue in Hollywood will culminate in a vibrant block party and celebration of community resilience. There will be live performances, speakers, and an atmosphere of empowerment — all to uplift Two-Spirit, Transgender, Gender Expansive, and Intersex (2TGI) communities.
But Walk4Humanity isn’t just about walking. It’s about funding transformation. Proceeds will support the creation of a new community center in Los Angeles that provides critical services like housing, mental health support, legal assistance, emergency relief, and more for the 2TGI community.
Why We Walk
We are in an urgent moment.
Across the nation, 2TGI people are facing unprecedented attacks — from anti-trans legislation to housing insecurity and healthcare disparities. Walk4Humanity is our answer. It's a radical act of visibility, resistance, and solidarity. Together, we will:

Every gift goes directly to expanding TLC’s services for the 2TGI community. Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, your donation makes a direct impact:
$50 = a month of mental health counseling
$200 = Supports emergency housing assistance for trans, gender expansive, and intersex individuals at risk of homelessness.
$1,000 = a community workshop for 50 participants
