Basic Needs & Community Support

Access a welcoming community space where you can connect with essential resources and support.

Services may include:
Food • Clothing • Community resources • Referrals • Case management

Our Drop-in Center provides a space for community members to connect with TLC staff, learn about available services, and receive support navigating additional resources.

Housing Support

We provide housing support and connections to resources for transgender, gender expansive, and intersex people experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

Services may include:
Transitional housing • Case management • Housing navigation • Referrals • Supportive services

Our housing programs, including HOPE House, are designed to help community members work toward greater stability while connecting with additional services and resources.

Employment & Economic Support

Build skills, explore employment opportunities, and connect with resources that can support your economic stability and professional goals.

Services may include:
Job readiness • Résumé support • Job search assistance • Internships • Career development • Entrepreneurship support • Transportation assistance

TLC's workforce programs provide individualized support and opportunities to help community members prepare for employment and strengthen their economic well-being.

Some specialized programs may have additional eligibility requirements.

Health & HIV Services

Access confidential HIV prevention services, health education, navigation, and connections to affirming care.

Services may include:
HIV testing • HIV prevention education • PrEP/PEP navigation • Health care referrals • Linkage to services

Our team works to make health information and services more accessible while connecting community members with affirming resources that support their health and well-being.

Reentry Support

We provide individualized support for transgender, gender expansive, and intersex people who have been impacted by incarceration, detention, or other parts of the carceral system.

Services may include:
Case management • Housing support • Employment resources • Referrals • Resource navigation

Our reentry services focus on helping community members navigate barriers, connect with essential resources, and work toward stability after incarceration or detention.

Violence Prevention & Survivor Support

We provide community-centered support for transgender, gender expansive, and intersex people who have experienced violence.

Services may include:
Case management • Accompaniment • Safety planning • Transportation assistance • Referrals • Resource navigation

Our team works with survivors to identify their needs, connect them with resources, and provide support in a respectful and affirming environment.

We'll ask you some questions to better understand your needs, circumstances, and the type of support you're looking for.

Explore Your Options

We'll help identify TLC programs and services that may be available to you and connect you with other community resources when appropriate.

STEP 4

Receive Support

Depending on your needs and program eligibility, you may be connected with a case manager, program staff member, or another resource for additional support.
