Another Sister Lost: Remembering Meraxes Medina
We at The TransLatin@ Coalition are devastated by the violent murder of Meraxes Medina, a beautiful trans Latina, who was shot and killed in South LA on March 20th. Meraxes is at least the sixth trans person to lose their life to violence in 2024, a tragic statistic that reflects the brutal reality faced by far too many in our community.
