The TransLatin@ Coalition Takes A Stand Against Criminalization and DA’s Rhetoric
At an LGBT Community Town Hall Forum in West Hollywood, Bamby Salcedo of The TransLatin@ Coalition delivered a powerful speech directly to Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman. She called out injustices faced by marginalized communities and argued against the need for more jails, emphasizing the harm done to the Transgender, Gender-Expansive, and Intersex (TGI) community. Members of The TransLatin@ Coalition and the Angels of Change stood united, chanting "No New Jails!"
State of California makes crucial investment to protect gender-affirming care and strengthen California’s network of providers
California has made a one-time $26 million dollar investment over a three-year period to stabilize the state’s provider network through grants for infrastructure and operations, along with a $30 million investment to be allocated to an Uncompensated Care Fund that will be available for providers to bill for rising costs.

The State of Trans Health – Trans Latin@s and Their Healthcare Needs
Our organization, in partnership with The California Endowment and Jacqueline Caraves embarked in a new task to amplify the needs of Trans Latin@s in the southern part of our golden state. The sole purpose of this project was to make an assessment about what are the needs that would make Trans Latin@s in southern California healthy individuals.
