California has made a one-time $26 million dollar investment over a three-year period to stabilize the state’s provider network through grants for infrastructure and operations, along with a $30 million investment to be allocated to an Uncompensated Care Fund that will be available for providers to bill for rising costs. 

The TransLatin@ Coalition strongly condemns the recent announcement by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to restrict access to gender-affirming care for transgender and gender-expansive youth.
