On a bright Friday morning on Sunset Boulevard, surrounded by community members, elected officials, partners, and chosen family, The TransLatin@ Coalition did something no TGI-led immigrant organization has done before in Los Angeles: we broke ground on land for a building we will own. It will become the home of our future offices, a moment seventeen years in the making.

The TransLatin@ Coalition (TLC), the largest trans-led organization in the United States founded by Latina immigrants, will host its 11th Annual GARRAS (Groundbreaking Activism Redirecting & Reforming All Systems) Fashion Show on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 8:00 PM at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

The TransLatin@ Coalition held its inaugural Walk4Humanity to raise funding that the president has cut during his ongoing anti-trans crusade. The result was a community triumph.

On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Sunset Junction became the epicenter of resilience and unity as hundreds joined Walk4Humanity, a mobilization of love, power, and justice for Trans, Gender Expansive, and Intersex (TGI) individuals—especially Black, Brown, and immigrant communities.
